The Lenovo Legion Go S is a recent model (late 2025) featuring the AMD Ryzen Z2 Go CPU, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB SSD. IGN’s Jackie Thomas wrote up a great piece on why the Steam Deck no longer gets her recommendation. In the article she calls out the Xbox Ally as the superior gaming handheld, but with this deal the Legion Go S is an even better option. The Legion Go S is actually more powerful than both the Xbox Ally and the Steam Deck. Because the Legion Go S runs off SteamOS much like the Steam Deck, performance is significantly better on the Legion Go S.
