Dieux has hooked a new collaboration.
The clinical skin care brand is teaming with Fishwife to launch a limited-edition adaptation of its bestselling, reusable eye patches. Available starting Tuesday, the new version, dubbed the Good Taste Forever Eye Mask, comes in the same medical-grade silicone as the original but features exclusive artwork by the tinned fish company’s in-house illustrator, Danny Miller. Animated drawings of blue sardines are found on both the patches and the product case, which retails for $25.
With the existing masks already housed in a tin similar to Fishwife’s trademark packaging, the collaboration was natural. But perhaps more than the physical similarities between the products and the menu, Charlotte Palermino, cofounder and chief brand officer of Dieux, was drawn to the message and motivation behind Fishwife.

In a statement sent to WWD, she said: “I love the history behind the term ‘Fishwife.’ What started as a job description for women who sold fish morphed into an insult to put down loud and outspoken members of ‘the fairer sex.’ Reclaiming the work of women selling fish, and the word that was an insult but is now a beautiful brand, is a wonderful turn of phrase and time, to us. As nerds who love history and the leaders behind a female-founded company, we’re proud fishwives and thrilled to partner with such a thoughtful company.”
Fishwife, like Dieux, is a female-led brand, cofounded by Becca Millstein and Caroline Goldfarb. Born mid-pandemic, the company has blown up on social media in the last year. A simple search for “tin fish” on TikTok will send you down a rabbit hole of hundreds of videos showcasing easy-to-prepare recipes using the brand’s gourmet offerings, from Mussels with Sweet Pepper and Garlic to Smoked Salmon with Sweet and Spicy Zhong, and of course, the classic Albacore Tuna in Olive Oil.

As for why the food brand felt it best to dip into beauty with Dieux, Millstein said: “We love Dieux because their commitment to reusability mirrors our obsession with ethical sourcing. We both care deeply about the footprint of what you put in your body and on your skin. This collab is proof that making thoughtful, sustainable choices doesn’t have to be boring — it can be a total treat.”

The special-edition collaboration will be sold direct-to-consumer until supplies last. Per Dieux’s recommendation, the non-slip, plumping masks are best paired with its Auracle Eye Serum, a hydrating formula designed to target wrinkles and under-eye circles.
