News of the day: AI safety, small cap winners, WestJet partners with Tim Hortons, Metro strike ends, economists on Fed rate hike and more


Passengers flying with WestJet Group can soon drink Tim Hortons-branded coffee on board following the two Canadian brands’ new partnership. The airline said, starting Nov. 30, it will serve a new custom-crafted Tim Hortons blend “specifically designed to taste its best at 35,000 feet” and created exclusively for the partnership.
