At least 1 dead after helicopter crashes in Los Angeles near site of earlier fatal bus-vehicle crash


At least one person is dead after a helicopter crashed between two commercial buildings in the Los Angeles area on Tuesday evening near the scene of an earlier fatal bus collision, according to the LA Fire Department.

The fiery helicopter crash happened in Chatsworth, a suburban neighborhood.

A Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson told reporters that the person who was killed was a pedestrian on the ground. It’s unknown how many people were on the helicopter.

The earlier bus crash happened nearby, involving a Metro bus and an SUV. That crash left two people dead and several others injured, according to ABC Los Angeles station KABC.
