The Kyiv School of Economics has appointed Yulia Svyrydenko as the new head of KSE Business School, aiming to enhance business education in Ukraine amid rapid global changes and the ongoing war.

Kyiv, September 10, 2026 — The Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) has announced the appointment of Yulia Svyrydenko as the Head of KSE Business School. Svyrydenko, who from July 2025 to July 2026 was the Prime Minister of Ukraine, also held posts in the government as First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy. As such, she brings substantial political and economic experience to her new role.

In her capacity as the head of KSE Business School, Svyrydenko stated in a press release that she aims to modernize business education in Ukraine to keep pace with global transformations and technological advancements. “The world is transforming rapidly. Ukraine needs leaders who grasp business, technology, data, and management with equal proficiency,” she stated.

Svyrydenko emphasized the importance of training leaders capable of generating innovative solutions in Ukraine, especially under the unique circumstances of uncertainty caused by the war. “Our task is to turn this experience into the foundation for a new quality of business education,” she added.

Tymofiy Mylovanov, President of KSE, echoed Svyrydenko’s sentiments, noting that the ongoing war necessitates quicker adaptation in management and educational methodologies.
