Wizard Wellness is having an eventful first year.
The allergy care brand, which beauty executive Lorne Lucree debuted in January, has closed a $1 million funding round with participation from new investors Pave Health Ventures and Vanquish Equity, as well as existing investors True Beauty Ventures and Barrier Island Capital.
The raise comes as Wizard Wellness completes a rollout to more than 4,000 Target, Walmart and CVS Pharmacy doors across the U.S., and unveils its first “Happy Nose Club” campaign in which actress Elisa Donovan playfully nods to her role as Amber in “Clueless” in a 52-second spot.

“We believe your nose deserves the same daily care and thoughtful product design that transformed the skin care industry,” said Lucree, who has previously held marketing and product development roles at Tatcha, Clinique and L’Oréal Professionnel, in a statement. “Every store and every dollar gets us closer to making allergy care something people actually want to use, not just something they have to.”
Wizard Wellness’ brightly colored lineup includes clearing nasal sprays coming in different Arctic Vanilla and Botanical Breeze scents; cooling nasal sticks that address stuffiness; a sinus rinse, and probiotic oral strips.
Prices range from $14.99 for the Daily Probiotic Nasal Sprays to $32.99 for the Sinus Rinse, while a bundle featuring all four products retails for $93.

“One of the things we appreciated most about Wizard wasn’t just the product, but the way Lorne thought about building the business from first principles,” said Frank Woodbridge, founder and managing partner at Vanquish Equity, in a statement. “It’s rare to see an early-stage founder combine deep consumer insight, scientific credibility and the discipline to execute a national retail rollout at this scale. We believe that combination gives Wizard the opportunity to build a brand that lasts.”
Vanquish Equity’s past investments include body care brand Evolvetogether and functional beverage line Recess, while Pave Health Ventures’ portfolio includes breast cancer screening platform BeSound and other well-being-focused companies like Ohm and Kairon Health.
Wellness has been a hot category for M&A of late, with recent activity including large transactions like Procter & Gamble’s acquisition of Thorne and Unilever’s purchase of Grüns, as well as smaller deals like Alix Earle’s investment in Cymbiotika and Apothékary’s $16 million Series A funding round.
