The first game is clunky as all hell but bleeds atmosphere. The second is a nice upgrade on the first with a great character builder system. The third is like an arcade version of the second and where the story turned into a comic book for better and worse. IV is an awkward smattering of games, hallowed out and retrofitted with micro transactions, with garbage from Path of Exile thrown atop.
Hard pass on whatever this will be. The Blizzard of old is very long gone and the lesser Blizzard of the early 2010s is long gone. The company as it exists today is little more than a shameless moneymaker coasting on established beloved properties, luring people in with what used to be a logo synonymous with quality.
