Happy weekend! As we enter the fall season, it’s a great time to check out our Fall Preview coverage, teasing the best that’s coming in movies, shows, books, and video games. When it comes to new TV releases out this weekend, we’ve got you covered.
The Paper is back for a second season. The follow-up and spin-off to The Office trails a group of novice journalists at the Toledo Truth Teller, a fading newspaper in the Midwest that’s hoping to revitalize its readership.
It’s also a big weekend for DC. While Supergirl is making its streaming debut on HBO Max, you can also watch Krypto Saves the Day, a short animated series following her beloved and adventurous dog.

Krypto Saves the Day!

The Kryptonian pooch Krypto causes all manner of havoc in James Gunn’s Superman, tearing up the Fortress of Solitude and chomping on Lex Luthor’s drones like chew toys. Now he has a starring role in a series of four animated shorts that will be included as a special feature with home editions of the film, which is coming to digital on Aug. 15 and will have a physical release on Sept. 23.
