Many of Michael Jordan’s most popular Air Jordan sneakers are unofficially on 10-year reissue cycles, with some recent styles dropping as soon as just five years after their last appearance. Then, there are other styles in Nike, Inc.’s Jordan Brand archive which are seen far more infrequently — if at all. 

Such is the case with the original Air Jordan 10 “Knicks” sneaker from 1995, a New York-themed style which has never been reissued in the three decades-plus since its debut. However, with Knicks fandom at an all-time high, reports are surfacing that Jordan Brand will be making the most of the buzz by bringing back the City Series style for the first time ever.

The Air Jordan 10 Retro Knicks will be rereleased for the first time ever during fall 2027. The news comes courtesy of @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, who add that the style is expected to feature all of its original details. The sneaker is built with a leather upper contrasted with black on the midsole, collar and tongue, but the highlight colors of the Knicks pair are its royal blue tongue liner and outsole striping, which are paired with an orange Jumpman on the outsole to tie the theme together.

The Knicks style was one of five original Air Jordan 10 City Series colorways alongside styles made for the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings, Orlando Magic and Seattle SuperSonics. With Jordan away from the NBA during his first retirement, the team-colored styles were instead worn by rising stars around the league including Orlando’s Nick Anderson, Kendall Gill of the SuperSonics and Sacramento’s Mitch Richmond. And with the Sacramento Air Jordan 10 set to make its first-ever retro appearance in December, the newly announced Knicks pair remains the only City Series style that has yet to receive a reissue.

The Air Jordan 10 Retro Knicks will be released fall ’27 for an expected retail price of $215 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers. The specific color combination and style code for the upcoming reissue have not been confirmed, but the original 1995 iteration featured a full colorway of White/Black/Royal Blue/Orange Flame and a SKU of 130209-103..
