Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen recently made headlines when he refused to guarantee that Michael Olise would remain at the club beyond the summer of 2027.
In Wednesday’s edition of Sport Bild, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl was asked about the Frenchman’s future and whether there is a particular price that would convince the Bavarians to sell him.

“If you want to win the Champions League, that question does not arise. That is the great thing about Bayern Munich: we do not have to buckle over any fee,” he responded.
However, Eberl also confirmed that Bayern intend to find out over the next year whether Olise is interested in extending his contract beyond 2029, with that decision likely to be key to the Frenchman’s long-term future at the club.
“Michael has developed exceptionally well with us. At some point, we will certainly sit down and discuss what happens next. He still has a three-year contract – I emphasise: without a release clause,” he said.
“Let me put it this way: by next summer, we should know whether there is an inclination on his part to extend his contract or not.”
Real Madrid have been mentioned as the main suitors for the France international.
