Fendi Casa Opens First Paris Flagship in Golden Triangle District

PARIS — Fendi Casa is celebrating the official opening of its first flagship in Paris as part of its partner Luxury Living Group’s expansion in both retail and branded residences.

The furniture and home decor brand is set to host a cocktail event on Wednesday to christen the 3,200-square-foot boutique in the heart of the French capital’s Golden Triangle, which quietly opened in May.

A stone’s throw from the Fendi clothing boutique on Avenue Montaigne, the two-story boutique in Paris is located in a Haussmann-style building at 16-18 Avenue George V. It comes on the heels of Fendi Casa’s first French outpost in Cannes, which opened last fall.

“The new location highlights the brand’s commitment to the French market, among the most sophisticated and strategic in Europe,” the brand said in a statement.

The interior of the store is inspired by the aesthetic of ancient Roman architecture, as viewed through a modern lens. Travertine marble dominates the space, alternating with resin on the floor, and with Roman lime-plaster finishes on the walls.

The ground level is dedicated to the living room, while the first floor houses bedroom collections, in addition to personalized design and consulting services, a materials library and a VIP room.

The unit carries key Fendi Casa products, including items that debuted during the most recent edition of Milan Design Week, such as the Podium modular sofa designed by Toan Nguyen; the Chain storage unit by Ceriani Szostak and the Peekachill armchair designed by Controvento and inspired by the brand’s signature Peekaboo bag.

The company has 20 monobrand stores worldwide, including seven directly operated units in Milan, Paris, London, Shanghai, Miami and its recently opened flagships in New York City and Los Angeles.

The Roman house founded by Adele and Edoardo Fendi was among the pioneers of fashion brands entering the home segment, which it introduced in 1987.

Fendi unveiled its first collection of Fendi Casa furniture in 1988 with Alberto Vignatelli, who founded Luxury Living Group in the 1980s, and over the years, creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi has worked with designers on several collections, building a relationship with the likes of Cristina Celestino, Chiara Andreatti and Peter Mabeo, to name a few.

As reported, Fendi Casa returned to be developed by Luxury Living Group last year. Fendi originally terminated its agreement with Luxury Living Group in 2021, when the brand and Flos B&B Italia (formerly Design Holding) formed Fashion Furniture Design, or FF Design, to develop the Fendi Casa business.

Part of the Haworth Lifestyle Group, Luxury Living Group acquired full ownership of Fashion Furniture Design SpA, adding production and distribution rights for Fendi Casa products to those of other luxury brands in its portfolio, such as Versace Home, Dolce & Gabbana Casa, Trussardi Casa, Bentley and Bugatti.
