Square Enix has this week confirmed Final Fantasy VII Revelation will be arriving on the Switch 2 in April 2027. Alongside the news, it also shared some details about the retail version (it’s a Game-Key Card) and announced multiple versions of the game that will be available at launch.
While the local options end at the Collector’s Edition, in case you missed it, Japan will actually be getting a limited supply “Complete Edition” covering the entire remake series that’s priced at 77,777 yen (around $500 USD).
This version will come loaded with not only the statue and the other goodies in the Collector’s Edition, but also the existing releases in this trilogy, including Remake Intergrade and Rebirth. Additionally, this edition includes steel cases, a retro Cloud keychain, acrylic stands featuring non-functioning discs (including a serial number on the Revelation one), the Story Expansion Pass, and much more.

Although this has only been announced in Japan, the Collector’s Edition available in the West still includes the latest game Revelation, a hardback artbook, mini-soundtrack CD, the statue featuring Cloud, Zach & Sephiroth, and a bunch of digital goodies. As we previously noted, it’s the slightly more affordable price of $349.99.
For a standalone retail copy, you can expect to pay $69.99 (or your regional equivalent) with pre-orders now live.
