Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse Trailer Will Give Veteran Fans Goosebumps

Konami has released a new trailer for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, and it’s a doozy.

We see a load of gameplay, of course, but the coolest thing about this latest trailer is that it’s got the iconic Bloody Tears track playing in the background – a really nice rendition of it, too.

Otherwise, this is definitely looking like one of the most radical reinventions the series has ever been through. Yes, it’s still got that ‘Igavania’ vibe to it, but the action looks a lot more fast-paced, with more options for attacks and traversal.

Belmont’s Curse launches on 15th October 2026 for the Switch. We’re still a little miffed there’s no Switch 2 version for this, so we’ve got our fingers crossed that it will run okay. At the very least, we’re hoping it’ll get some sort of 60fps mode at some point like Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, so that it can take advantage of the Switch 2’s extra power.
