Minister Hussen to make an important announcement related to emergency food and nutrition assistance


Wednesday September 11, 2024 – The Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of International Development, will hold a press conference to announce funding to help meet the needs of vulnerable populations facing acute hunger. Minister Hussen will be accompanied by Andy Harrington, Executive Director of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank.

The press conference will be followed by a media availability.

Location: Abbotsford, British Columbia
