Beverly Hills Hotel Taps Gucci Chef Mattia Agazzi for New Supper Club

Former Gucci Osteria chef Mattia Agazzi will be at the helm of The Supper Club, a new dining and nightlife space opening later this year at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

The Italian chef, who most recently served as head chef of Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills, now closed, will oversee the menu for the club. The concept, seating 94 guests in banquettes, is designed as an evening destination combining dinner, cocktails and music.

According to the hotel, “heralding a new era of nightlife in Beverly Hills,” The Supper Club will offer “a destination where Los Angeles can once again dress for the occasion, settle over a martini and exceptional meal, and enjoy an evening of live entertainment that carries late into the night.”

The opening adds another high-end hospitality concept to Beverly Hills as the area continues to see investment in new restaurants, hotels and nightlife destinations.

Agazzi earned a Michelin star at Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills and previously worked at the restaurant’s Florence location under chef Massimo Bottura. At The Supper Club, his menu will draw on Italian cooking while incorporating California ingredients and influences, including “coastal seafood, savory meats, and of course, artisan handmade pasta.”

“For me, cooking is about bringing people together over comforting, soulful food—the kind that makes you feel instantly at home,” said Agazzi in a statement. “Through my work experience alongside chef Massimo Bottura, I learned to respect the profound heritage of Italian cuisine while embracing contemporary techniques and ideas. Today, my culinary philosophy brings the same balance of tradition, curiosity, and precision to every plate—creating food that feels both deeply nostalgic and distinctly my own.”

The space is being designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, with Ken Fulk overseeing creative direction. It will give the hotel a dedicated late-night destination beyond the Polo Lounge, long known as a Hollywood power-lunch spot and dinner mainstay. Alex Le Roux of ALR Music will oversee the music programming.
