Selena Gomez and husband Benny Blanco headed to Venice recently ahead of their one-year wedding anniversary, and just days before the start of the Venice Film Festival.
Gomez looked ready for fall in an all-brown ensemble grounded by stiletto boots, nicely coordinated with Blanco’s brown leather tassel loafers. While she presented an elevated autumnal vacation look, we’ve also seen Gomez display her fully formal style in Venice — she dressed up for the film festival to promote “Spring Breakers” back in 2012.

Gomez attended the “Spring Breakers” Venice premiere in an Atelier Versace fall 2011 dress. It was a blush pink strapless gown with a ruched bust in a shiny leather-like material featuring a sweetheart neckline. The gown also featured a lustrous design of curvaceous floral-like overlays trimmed with gold eyelets. Fabric was gathered to the side, offering volume and drama to the look.

Gomez’s Atelier Versace dress was paired with high-glamour shoes from Sergio Rossi. She wore a platform style in champagne-colored satin with a strappy caged portion across the toes and additional straps comprising the upper. This arrangement was decorated with swirling crystal designs; additionally, a spiral of crystals wrapped around the style’s towering stiletto heel. Gomez also wore this shoe at the Toronto International Film Festival the same month for a different “Spring Breakers” premiere, pairing them with a Marchesa dress, as seen below.

Gomez also attended a photo call in Venice for “Spring Breakers” wearing a black and gold Dolce & Gabbana dress with a pair of stiletto sandals. The garment featured sheer lace sections as well as gold embroidery against a black backdrop.

The shoes paired with the Dolce & Gabbana dress featured a slender strap across the toes and curved straps around the top of the foot and ankle forming a diamond with concave sides. The style resembled a silhouette by Jimmy Choo.
