Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 University Red Release Date II4391-100

20 years after they first emerged on the sneaker scene as highly limited designs made exclusively for friends and family, Fat Joe’s once-mythical Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low sneakers finally released to the public in 2023 in two colorways, but there was one style — a two-tone white-and-red spin on the classic model — that straggled behind. Now, after years of teasers and purported release dates that came and went without the sneakers materializing, a third Terror Squad-branded Air Force 1 is finally joining the fray.

The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low in University Red and White will be released in September from Nike’s e-commerce store and select retailers. The sneaker sticks to the same script that made previous releases a hit with fans, keeping the design simple with classic Air Force 1 color blocking and premium leathers.

The bold red sneaker features custom Terror Squad touches in the form of “TS” embroidery at the back and “JC” — representing Fat Joe’s “Joey Crack” nickname — at the heel. Throw in an alternate set of shoelaces to let the wearer choose between red and white and you’ve got a recipe for a sneaker that stands out without being overly ostentatious.

To introduce the latest Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low style, Fat Joe’s sneaker store Up NYC shared a photoshoot starring the rapper and his daughter, Azaryah. Sneaker culture pioneer Mark “Mayor” Farese was also involved in the rollout, helping deliver pairs of the sneaker to friends and family New York City.

The Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low University Red/White will be released Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. ET from Nike’s Snkrs app and will also be available from select retailers. The collaboration’s retail price is $150 and its style code is II4391-100.
