Cult Simulator Join Us Headed to PS5 Alongside PC and Xbox Series X at Launch

Join Us, the upcoming open-world co-op game where you can start your very own doomsday cult, just dropped a ton of new gameplay as part of IGN’s gamescom programming. You can see more than 11 minutes of exclusive footage in the player below, and get a deeper look into just how the game will work.

Earlier this week, developer Wolf Haus games announced that the darkly satirical survival/action cult simulator will be available on PS5 at launch alongside the PC and Xbox Series X/S versions in March 2027. The news of Join Us’ PS5 version also featured information on how 4-player co-op will work in both the campaign and free roam.

In addition to the extended gameplay, IGN can exclusively reveal a special video from Wolf Haus showing four real-life former cult members coming together to play Join Us in co-op and reflicting on their past histories while enjoying this new adventure and reacting to the game

The live-action trailer featuring former cult members, which you can watch below, introduces us to Jaga, Javier, Ariel, and Elena – who have a “collective experience of over 50 years in their unique societies.” This experience involves a cult that is preparing for aliens to arrive on Earth and take us back to the planet we came from, a peaceful cult that focuses on martial arts and self-defense training, and a holistic rejuvenation cult.

In Join Us, players will need to stay vigilant though, as they’ll need to keep their recruits happy or they will leave the cult. As the devs put it, “a cult leader without any followers is just a lonely weirdo.”
