Pre-orders Begin Today for the XBOX 25th Anniversary Collection

Today, we’re excited to open pre-orders for the XBOX 25th anniversary collection, featuring the XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition console and Special Edition controller.

From the translucent OG Green design to the details and tributes hidden throughout the hardware, every detail was created to celebrate the players, games, and moments that have shaped XBOX over the past 25 years. Every XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition console is individually numbered with a unique engraving, making each one a lasting piece of XBOX history.

And we have one more surprise. Every XBOX Series X25 Limited Edition console comes with a full-game download of Halo: Campaign Evolved, the faithful yet modernized remake of the iconic campaign that helped define the original XBOX experience for millions of players around the world.

Beginning today, some of XBOX’s most dedicated fans will be invited via email to pre-order the XBOX 25^th anniversary collection. Tomorrow, Thursday, August 27 at 7 a.m. PDT, all players in select markets can visit the XBOX site or participating retailers for an opportunity to pre-order while supplies last.

The XBOX 25^th anniversary collection launches on November 13, 2026, for an MSRP of $899.99 USD. Pricing varies by market, and players can check their local Microsoft Store or authorized retailers for region-specific pricing and availability. Pre-orders are limited to one XBOX 25^th anniversary collection per customer.

XBOX X25 Special Edition Wireless Controller

For players looking to bring a piece of the anniversary collection to their setup, the XBOX X25 Special Edition Wireless Controller is also available separately, with pre-orders open now in select markets.

Launching on October 20, the controller combines translucent OG Green styling with nostalgic design details inspired by XBOX’s legacy, making it easy to celebrate 25 years of XBOX wherever you play.
