The 5 Hottest New Restaurants in Los Angeles to Try This Fall 2026

Los Angeles is heading into fall with a fresh slate of restaurant openings across the city. Big-name chefs, hospitality groups and neighborhood newcomers are all in the mix. Here are five to know now:

Skywalker Grill

Scene: Hollywood power players, museum patrons and industry types will likely be among the first through the doors, as George Lucas and Mellody Hobson’s long-awaited Lucas Museum of Narrative Art opens Sept. 22. Skywalker Grill debuts the same day atop the museum and is open to the public, no gallery ticket required.

Food: A California-inspired menu featuring Dungeness crab cakes, lobster corn dogs, crispy chicken Milanese, honey miso-glazed salmon and a Skywalker Ranch Wagyu burger. It will serve lunch, dinner and weekend brunch.

Design: Rockwell Group, the architecture and design studio, brings a midcentury influence to the space, with cherry wood throughout, a sculptural central bar and a landscaped outdoor terrace with views of L.A.

The Word: “The menu is inventive yet approachable, designed to welcome everyone,” says Katie Harel, managing director of Rhubarb Hospitality Collection and Oak View Group Hospitality.

Spacca Tutto

Scene: Expect Palisades regulars, longtime Nancy Silverton devotees (of Osteria Mozza, Pizzeria Mozza and Chi Spacca fame, among others) and a polished, laid-back Westside crowd when Spacca Tutto opens in October at the reopened Palisades Village. The Italian-American steakhouse marks Silverton’s first restaurant on the Westside and arrives as the community continues to rebuild after the 2025 Palisades fire.

Food: The menu takes cues from Chi Spacca and classic American chophouses, with a steak program spanning different cuts and ages, plus seasonal vegetables, seafood and signatures including Focaccia di Recco and Chicken Pot Pie.

Design: Interior design firm AvroKO brings a polished decor to the room, with a dramatic central bar, dark wood, curved banquettes, patterned floors and amber lighting.

The Word: “The Palisades has always been a special community,” says Silverton. “It’s such a privilege as a born-and-raised Angeleno to be a part of the team welcoming people back. Spacca Tutto is guaranteed to be a restaurant for the neighborhood, where people can gather around a table with good food, great conversation and warm hospitality.”

Little Luck

Scene: The Sunset Strip gets a new H.wood Group destination this fall when Little Luck takes over the former Bootsy Bellows space in West Hollywood. Behind it are longtime friends John Terzian and Brian Toll, whose portfolio includes celebrity magnets The Nice Guy and Delilah, along with forthcoming projects Lady Delilah in New York, Montana’s in Brentwood and the more family-friendly Alphabet Bar & Grill in Palisades Village.

Food: Little Luck will be the H.wood Group’s first Japanese dining concept, with executive chef Erik Idos leading the kitchen. The menu and drinks have yet to be revealed.

Design: Given H.wood’s track record for highly designed spaces that are as much about atmosphere as dining, expect the room itself to be part of the draw.

The Word: Terzian and Toll call Little Luck “a new chapter,” with “ingredients and craft at the center of the experience.”

Marée

Scene: Marée is set to attract in-the-know diners looking for a more relaxed night out, with a strong wine program and an à la carte menu. Opening in early September above chef Marcus Jernmark’s newly Michelin-starred Beverlywood restaurant Lielle, the 70-seat bistro is his more casual counterpart to the 42-seat dining room downstairs.

Food: The menu blends California and Parisian influences and changes with the seasons.

Design: Marée has a brighter, more open feel than Lielle’s intimate subterranean dining room, with a crisp, understated aesthetic.

The Word: Jernmark says Marée can work “for dinner, a glass of wine before or after dinner at Lielle, or simply as a place to return to again and again.”

Gable

Scene: Opened in August, Gable gives the Hollywood Roosevelt a new dinner draw for hotel guests and locals, bringing in a creative crowd alongside the hotel’s enduring Old Hollywood appeal.

Food: Culinary director Chris Flint, an alum of Eleven Madison Park and Maude, has created a contemporary California menu shaped by L.A.’s mix of cultures and ingredients, with cocktails overseen by beverage director Chad Austin, formerly of Bar Benjamin.

Design: The room has a warm feel, with dark wood, glowing lamps, framed art, long banquettes and an open kitchen built around a wood-fire hearth.

The Word: “The Hollywood Roosevelt has been a timeless part of this city for nearly a century,” Flint says. “We cook dishes that feel approachable and casual, yet subtly showcase the technique behind them.”
