Kim Kardashian Partners With Broc Shot After Using It for Psoriasis

Kim Kardashian has joined Broc Shot as a brand advocate.

The Los Angeles-based supplement brand has tapped Kardashian following her own experience incorporating Broc Shot into her routine while managing psoriasis, which she has spoken publicly about for more than a decade.

“Psoriasis has been part of my life for over ten years, so I’ve basically tried everything out there,” Kardashian told WWD in an exclusive statement. “When I found Broc Shot, it just made sense. It’s the first supplement recognized by the National Psoriasis Foundation, made from whole broccoli seeds, and every batch is third-party tested. That’s the kind of thing I need to see before I trust a product. Since I started using it, my skin looks clearer and feels so much calmer. It comes in powder or capsules too, so it fits into whatever my routine looks like that day.”

The company expects the partnership to deliver its biggest revenue day to date at roughly 20 times a typical day and bring in at least 1 million new customers over the six-month campaign, while helping broaden awareness of its inside-out approach to skin health. According to the company, Kardashian is not an investor or product collaborator.

Founded by Gracia Walker and Benjamin Silver, Broc Shot centers on sulforaphane, a compound derived from broccoli seed that activates the NRF2 pathway, part of the body’s natural defense system. Its daily formula is available as a powder in three flavors, as well as capsules.

While Broc Shot initially heard consumers reporting benefits ranging from energy to digestive health, Walker said skin became the clearest opportunity.

“What really stood out for us was when we started to see and hear from them on the visible skin benefits that they were seeing,” she said, noting feedback across reactive, hormonal, blemish-prone and aging skin.

In a 30-day consumer perception study conducted with Essex Testing Lab, the company said 98 percent of participants reported more luminous skin, 96 percent clearer skin and 86 percent younger-looking skin.

The roughly 15-person company remains primarily direct-to-consumer, a strategy Walker said has given it direct access to customer feedback and purchasing behavior, though retail expansion is part of its future. Manufacturing and distribution are based in Utah.

With Kardashian’s reach, Walker sees an opportunity to broaden the conversation around skin health.

“We feel strongly that people are going to start to say the term, that they’re focused on their skin health,” Walker said.
