We’ve already had multiple Switch titles receive a Switch 2 makeover recently, and it looks like another one may have been discovered ahead of the official announcement.
As highlighted by Nintendo Everything, a document by Chinese games distributor Prowell Asia Holdings features an image of a Switch 2 version of Hazelight’s award-winning co-op adventure, It Takes Two. According to the same listing, the EA-published title will apparently arrive mid-October, include English language support, and is getting a Game-Key Card release. It’s also supposedly about 12.1GB in size.
This title made its debut on the Switch in 2022, with the original version for other platforms taking out The Game Awards’ Game of the Year and multiple other awards in 2021. Despite some graphical compromises, we enjoyed our time with the Switch port. Hazelight most recently released Split Fiction on the Switch 2.
For now, this is just a rumour, but if we hear any official updates from Hazelight or EA, we’ll let you know. Would you be interested in revisiting It Takes Two on Switch 2? Did you play the Switch version? Tell us in the comments.
