S&P/TSX composite index up in late-morning trading, U.S. markets flat




TORONTO — Canada’s main stock index moved higher in late-morning trading, helped by gains in energy stocks, while U.S. markets were flat.
The S&P/TSX composite index was up 62 points at 36,443.23.
