Have you played The Mermaid Mask yet? Oh my goodness, you need to. I’ve done one playthrough, and I’ve decided to go right back to the beginning and do it all again. It’s wonderful. I’ve not laughed so much at a game in bloomin’ yonks, and it’s done me a world of good.

It’s possibly tied with Resident Evil Requiem as my GOTY so far (spoilers) – it really is that good.

The kids and I are approaching the end of our Ocarina playthrough. We just got the Silver Gauntlets and are about to embark on the adult Link section of the Spirit Temple. Onto the Shadow Temple after that, and then front row seats at Ganondorf’s piano recital.

I’ve also been dipping into Cruis’n Blast after nabbing a code-in-a-box (eww) the morning I found out it had been delisted. What a pleasingly stupid arcade game! Plenty more fun to be had with that. Have a good one, folks.
