After leaving an indelible mark on the Air Jordan 4, Nigel Sylvester is taking his talents to another one of Jordan Brand’s iconic Retro models.
According to @zsneakerheadz and Sneaker Files, a Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 6 Retro OG SP is in the works for summer 2027. And while in-hand images and details aren’t yet available, the collaboration is expected to continue Sylvester’s bicycle-themed storytelling, this time tapping into 1980s and ‘90s video game nostalgia.
The early information states that Sylvester’s Air Jordan 6, the BMX pro’s first collaboration on the model, will take inspiration from the retro video game “Paperboy,” in which players deliver newspapers on a bike. A sequel to the game, “Paperboy 2,” was released in 1991 — the same year as the Air Jordan 6 — which could be a potential tie-in between the two products.
Similar to Sylvester’s tonal styling of the Air Jordan 4 Brick by Brick and Air Jordan 4 RM, his Air Jordan 6 design is expected to feature an all-blue upper that’s broken up by a white midsole and clear rubber outsole. The upcoming pair will likely feature other signature Sylvester details including mini Swoosh embroidery near the toe and Bike Air branding at the heel.

After Sylvester and Jordan Brand released one of 2025’s most celebrated collaborations with the aforementioned Air Jordan 4 Brick by Brick, they followed it up in May with a Brick After Brick sequel. Now, it looks as though the collaboration’s Air Jordan 4 chapter has closed as it moves on to a new silhouette.
“There’s so many. Like I would love to do a 5. I want to do a 6. Would love to do a 15 and 14,” Sylvester told Footwear News during summer 2025. “I feel like there’s so many amazing and iconic models underneath the Jordan Brand umbrella that I’m looking forward to collaborating on in the future and continuing storytelling and continuing to put these models and these iconic silhouettes through the POV of Bike Air.”
The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 6 Retro OG SP is set to be released during summer ’27 from Nike’s Snkrs app and select Jordan Brand retailers for an expected retail price of $230.
