Japan Earthquake Live Updates: 6.8-Magnitude Quake Strikes Kumamoto Prefecture

There were no reports of abnormalities at the Sendai Nuclear Power Plant, Chief Cabinet Secretary Minoru Kihara said during a news briefing. The power plant, which has two reactors and supplies electricity to the Kyushu region, is in Kagoshima prefecture, south of Kumamoto.
