July 23, 2026 – Ottawa, Ontario – Global Affairs Canada

The Honourable Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced the following diplomatic appointment:

Emmanuelle Lamoureux will become Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Poland. Ms. Lamoureux will replace Catherine Godin.
