Iran live updates: Kuwait attacked, Bahrain sounds sirens after night of US strikes

United States forces conducted another wave of attacks against Iran Sunday evening, marking the ninth consecutive night of strikes, according to U.S. Central Command.

“The strikes will continue degrading Iranian military capabilities used to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners transiting the Strait of Hormuz,” CENTCOM said.

Strikes targeted “Iranian military command centers, air defense and coastal surveillance sites, maritime capabilities, missile and drone launch sites, and communications networks,” in an effort to weaken Iran’s ability to control the Strait of Hormuz, CENTCOM said.
