While baby tees don’t usually have a reputation for being elegant, fashion people have found a trend that resolves that. It’s a ’90s-Y2K-coded pants trend that’s been having a major moment for the past several seasons. Celebrities are some of the biggest endorsers of low-rise pants, the latest being Anya Taylor-Joy.
Taylor-Joy was just spotted in NYC wearing a white baby tee on her way to an appearance on Good Morning America to promote her new series Lucky. The pant trend she styled it with? Low-rise trousers. The trousers are fresh off of the Tom Ford F/W 26 runway, and it’s safe to say low-rise trousers will continue to be everywhere this fall. The rest of her outfit was simple, elegant, and modern. She accessorized with rectangular sunglasses and black pointed-toe Christian Louboutin pumps. Her baby tee with any other pant trend wouldn’t have looked quite as chic and elegant, so it’s safe to say that she made the right choice.
If you’re on the hunt for the right bottoms to dress up your trusty baby tees, keep scrolling to recreate Taylor-Joy’s outfit and shop more baby tees and low-rise pants.
