Two sides looking to build on superb showings in the round of 16 will be looking to book their place in the 2026 World Cup semifinals on Saturday, as Norway faces England.

The Norwegians are appearing in the quarterfinals following their impressive 2-1 dismantling of Brazil in the previous round, with star man Erling Haaland scoring both of the Vikings’ goals.

England, meanwhile, came through its toughest test of the tournament so far with a stirring 3-2 victory over co-host Mexico in an intimidating Azteca Stadium on Sunday. The Three Lions had to manage with 10 players for a large chunk of the second half following Jarell Quansah’s dismissal, with the Bayer Leverkusen defender unavailable for this match due to suspension.

The spoils for today’s winner are a semifinal showdown against either Argentina or Switzerland in Atlanta on Wednesday.

Norway takes on England in this quarterfinal match on Saturday at Miami Stadium (aka Hard Rock Stadium) in Miami Gardens, Florida, with kickoff set for 5 p.m. ET. That makes it a 2 p.m. PT start on the West Coast in the US and Canada, and a 10 p.m. BST start in the UK. For those watching in Australia, it’s a 7 a.m. AEST kickoff on Sunday morning.

How to watch the 2026 World Cup using a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with all the World Cup action while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming.

It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds. Additionally, it can be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, providing an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins. VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions to ensure you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN use is crucial.
