Why We Love Thirdlove’s Nipple Covers

Let’s be honest: Most nipple covers are either visible under clothing, impossible to peel off without regretting your life choices, or mysteriously lose their grip the second temperatures climb above 75 degrees. As someone who’s worn everything from sheer tops to backless dresses during the summer months, I’ve yet to find a pair that truly disappears under clothing while remaining comfortable enough for all-day wear. That’s what caught my attention about Thirdlove’s latest launch.

The brand, which has spent more than a decade helping women find better-fitting bras, is expanding into nipple covers with a reusable design that tackles the category’s biggest complaints head-on. The Breathable Nipple Covers feature ultra-thin infinity edges that are designed to disappear under fabric, a micro-perforated surface that allows airflow (a welcome upgrade during peak summer heat), and a unique adhesive design that stays put without making removal a painful experience. At $29 for 15-plus wears, they’re the kind of practical wardrobe staple you’ll find yourself reaching for whether you’re wearing a white T-shirt, a slip dress, or anything that makes a traditional bra feel unnecessary.
