Project Hail Mary (4K Blu-ray)
$28 (was $38) | Releases August 11

The standard 4K version of Project Hail Mary keeps things light, with deleted scenes, a featurette, and the audio commentary track featuring film directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Amazon has the lowest preorder price out of all the major Blu-ray retailers, and thanks to its preorder price guarantee, you won’t be hit with any unexpected fees when it finally arrives in August. Remember though: you’ll only pay for the Blu-ray after it ships, not when you place your preorder.
Project Hail Mary (Standard Blu-ray)
$25 (was $32) | Releases August 11

For the standard Blu-ray release, Project Hail Mary ships with the same special features as the 4K edition and in 1080p. The cover for this version remains the same.
Project Hail Mary (DVD)
$26 | Releases August 11

Curiously, the DVD version of Project Hail Mary is slightly more expensive than the standard Blu-ray. It doesn’t include any of the special features above, and since it’s a DVD, the movie is presented in 480p.

Based on the book by Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary tells the story of science teacher Ryland Grace after he wakes up on a spaceship lightyears from Earth–with no memories of why he’s in space. Grace slowly starts to remember bits and pieces, and discovers that he’s humanity’s last hope, and the only person who can solve the mystery of why the Sun is slowly dying. It was a big splashy hit at the box office, making over $683 million during its theatrical run, and for good reason. It’s the kind of spectacle filmmaking that makes the 4K Blu-ray editions worth checking out.
The movie did so well, in fact, it’s already got an official Lego set.

Priced at $100, the 830-piece set launches on July 16, and it includes all the pieces you need to build a replica of the Hail Mary interstellar spacecraft, plus minifig versions of Grace, and his alien pal Rocky.
