Free People‘s activewear brand FP Movement has teamed up with Asics for its first footwear collaboration. The lineup features two sneaker styles, which launched on Tuesday.

Featuring a running shoe and a tennis shoe, the collection is inspired by the magic of golden hour — celebrating everyday rituals including early runs, sunset tennis matches and everyday moments of movement that foster connection, confidence and renewal. The collection is a tribute to the moments that women allocate for themselves and the habits that help them feel their best.

For the collection merging Asics’ performance expertise with FP Movement’s unique design point of view, two Asics silhouettes are refreshed with a lifestyle-driven approach. FP Movement’s signature paisley print is applied to the Gel-Challenger 15 tennis shoe as an expressive, heritage-inspired element. The $130 shoe is described as one of the brand’s most comfortable tennis stability offerings; it features a soft and supportive upper with a plush heel collar to enable a more comfortable and dynamic fit. Blended with Asics’ Wingwall technology, the tennis shoe is engineered to help enhance stability during side-to-side movement and play.

Meanwhile, the Gel-Nimbus 28 running shoe features a sunset orange accent to contribute dimension to the style and embody the warmth and energy of golden hour. Priced at $180, the shoe blends plush cushioning and modern design. Making use of a mix of Asics’ FF Blast Plus midsole material and PureGel technology, the sneaker aims to support walks and runs of all distances in addition to offering comfort all day.

To connect with the community, FP Movement is planning to host a Golden Hour Community Run Series in Los Angeles and New York. It includes a Los Angeles Dawn event, which people can sign up for here, featuring a sunrise run led by campaign star Scout followed by a Golden Fuel Cafe and an After Glow Bar. The New York Dusk event, which people can sign up for here, includes an evening community run helmed by campaign star Bianca and then a recovery-focused studio takeover with red light therapy, elixirs inspired by golden hour and more.

FP Movement recently collaborated with the original cardio and strength boutique fitness studio Barry’s to create a co-branded collection featuring nine FP Movement styles.
