As much as I love neutral nails, I have a soft spot for certain trends that peak during summer. One maximalist trend that’s been constantly showing up on algorithm is none other than ombre nails. Initially, I thought this might not be for me, but after seeing how many different color combinations can be used to make them match my personal style, I was sold.
If you don’t already know, ombre nails (sometimes confused with aura nails) are when two or more colors are placed on to the nail with a sponge and then diffused to create a seamless blend so that one color transitions to the other. A lot of times, this is done vertically on individual nails, but I’ve also seen my fair share sets where the pattern goes across all five nails horizontally. Pretty cool, right?
