The makers of Crown Royal whiskey have entered into an agreement to sell their former bottling facility in Amherstburg, Ont., Diageo, has confirmed to CBC.

“We can confirm that a purchase sale agreement for the Amherstburg facility has been signed,” a spokesperson said in an emailed statement.

“The process remains confidential, and we are not currently in a position to share details regarding the purchaser. We will share additional information when appropriate.”
