It has been a busy start to the summer for Real Madrid, who have already wrapped up four new signings for Jose Mourinho’s squad. The club are pleased with the business done so far, which is why they are turning their attention towards potential outgoings.
€80m has already been spent between the signings of Ibrahima Konate, Denzel Dumfries, Marc Cucurella and Bernardo Silva, and much more could go towards the possible incomings of Nico Schlotterbeck, Enzo Fernandez and Michael Olise. As such, sales will be needed in order to balance the books, and a number of candidates have already been identified.

As per Marca, Real Madrid are prioritising exits for the time being, with the likes of Dani Ceballos and Fran Garcia earmarked as players that will almost certainly depart. Interestingly, there are also chances for Raul Asencio to be sold, given that he is behind the likes of Konate, Antonio Rudiger, Eder Militao and Dean Huijsen in the pecking order.
Asencio recently spoke of his excitement at the prospect of working under Mourinho, and despite the fact that his aggressive style of play is suited to the Portuguese, there does not appear to be a place for him in the squad. As such, offers will be considered when the summer transfer window opens next week, with the club not prepared to stand in the way of his development.
Two other sales ruled out – for now
While Real Madrid are prepared to sell Ceballos, Garcia and Asencio, the same cannot be said for two other first team players. As per the report, Real Madrid are counting on Eduardo Camavinga and Gonzalo Garcia for the time being, despite both having been linked with moves away during the upcoming transfer window.

Camavinga, who had a very difficult 2025-26 season, is still counted upon by club bosses, while Gonzalo is backed by Mourinho, who sees him as a different option to the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Endrick Felipe.
