Bailey Rice believes he "can show a lot more" after signing a new one-year contract with Rangers, with the option of a further year.

The midfielder, 19, has made 16 appearances for the club, with four of those starts.

"It's brilliant," he told club media.

"I have been a fan since I was a kid, so I know what it means to play here and I know what the club means to me, so it is a great achievement.

"It is such a great club, I have had some great moments but I have also had some of the hardest moments of my career with injury, but that can only make me a better player and I feel I can show a lot more than I already have."
