How To Get That Ridiculous Crimson Desert Bomb Backpack

There are a lot of fun gadgets and items in Crimson Desert, but we’ve just found one of the more ridiculous ones. The Bleed Bandits’ Alchemy Explosive Pack generates bombs when you take damage. Normally it is a durability-based item, however, you can also trigger it to generate bombs yourself, negating the damage and durability hits. It’s essentially an infinite bomb-creating behemoth of an item when used in this way.

Head to the Southern Quarry.

The Alchemy Explosive Pack can’t be acquired specifically through quests. You’ll need to head to the Bleed Bandits at the Southern Quarry and find enemies with it equipped. Defeating these will drop the item, but right now there’s a bug that makes the backpack fall through the ground and disappear so that you can’t pick it up.

Be sure to pick the pack up quickly.

To overcome this, keep Wind Veil active while you’re defeating the enemy, and make sure to grab the backpack quickly.

You can also isolate one of the bandits and use Nature’s Snare suspended directly over them, before quickly killing them and grabbing the pack.

Once you’ve got it equipped, you can become an explosive nightmare for endless enemies.

You can negate damage and durability hits.

The backpack works by detecting enemy hits, dispensing a bomb when you take damage. However, you can negate this because some of your own attacks are being registered as enemy attacks. You can trigger it yourself to pop the bombs.

One such attack is Whirlwind Slash, but if you’re in the hitbox of your own attack–like Spirit Judgement or Blinding Flash Finisher–it’ll trigger it too.
