Brazil Economists Hike Rate Forecasts on Eve of Policy Decision


The benchmark Selic will hit 13.75% this December, up from the prior estimate of 13.5%, according to a weekly survey of economists published Monday by the monetary authority. Borrowing costs will stand at 12% at end-2027 and 10.25% at end-2028, up from 11.50% and 10%, respectively.
