Premium Transcontinental Service
All in all, Delta has penciled in a grand total of 34 domestic round-trip flights with its A330-900neos next month. Of these, 30 can be found on the lucrative transcontinental corridor between
John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This equates to a daily frequency, with the A330-900neo departing JFK at 8:00 AM as flight DL713. It is due at LAX at 11:05 AM, six hours and five minutes later.

Despite just about being long enough to be an overnight redeye service, the return leg of this rotation also takes place in the daytime. Indeed, Delta Air Lines flight DL939 departs LAX at 12:25 PM and, after five hours and 35 minutes in the air, is scheduled to arrive at JFK at 9:00 PM. In a statement, Airbus explained how Delta’s A330-900neos have always been a source of innovation.
“An environmental milestone was set as a Delta crew ferried the new A330-900 back to the company’s Atlanta base using a jet fuel blended from conventional sources and non-petroleum synthetic fuel.”
Less Frequent Flights From Atlanta
Delta’s main base is its hub at
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport(ATL), and its huge presence there has been a key reason as to why Atlanta has consistently ranked as the busiest airport in the entire world over the years. Its remaining four internal round-trip flights with the A330-900neo in June 2026 will all originate at the airport.
Three of these four rotations will link Atlanta with Tampa International Airport (TPA) in Florida. Of these, two will come and go on June 14, while the third is set to operate on June 26. It is worth noting that Delta does operate a wide variety of other aircraft types on the route from Atlanta to Tampa as well: June will see 383 rotations overall, with the A321 and Boeing 757-200 dominating proceedings.
The start of the month will also see Delta operate a single A330-900neo rotation between Atlanta and Minneapolis St Paul International Airport (MSP) in the US state of Minnesota. Unlike the Tampa rotations, which return on the same day, the A330-900neo will fly out to the Twin Cities on June 3 and return to Atlanta on June 4. Normally, Delta uses Airbus and Boeing narrowbodies on this route.
