Glamorgan have signed experienced New Zealand all-rounder Jimmy Neesham after losing paceman Fazalhaq Farooqi for the rest of their T20 Blast campaign.
Neesham could make his debut on Friday when Glamorgan host Somerset in the competition (18:30 BST) after he was a late addition to their match squad.
Farooqi has been recalled by the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB).
Neesham, 35, has played 105 T20 internationals, including playing in the recent World Cup final against India in which he took three wickets.
He has played for Welsh Fire in the Hundred – plus Derbyshire, Durham, Essex and Kent – and has extensive franchise experience around the world including the Indian Premier League (IPL), Australia’s Big Bash, and leagues in South Africa, Pakistan and West Indies.
Farroqi, 25, signed in March and played in the opening two games of this season’s competition.
