The ‘Creed’ spin-off series ‘Delphi’ has started shooting.

It follows young, aspiring boxers at a gym.

We might have a wait for another big screen outing in the ‘Creed’ series (since Michael B. Jordan is busy on other projects), but the TV spin-off universe for the movies is flourishing.

And ‘Delphi’, which takes place in a boxing gym, is first to step into the production ring, with cameras starting to roll in Los Angeles.

We also know who will be starring in the show, with Demián Bichir, André Holland, Benji Santiago, Juan Castano, Andre Royo, Sofia Black-D’Elia and Victoria Vourkoutiotis all nabbing lead roles.

What’s the story of ‘Delphi’?

‘Delphi’ follows a group of gifted young boxers in an elite academy fighting to achieve their dreams and reach the pinnacle of the sport.

Bichir will be Hector Torres, a family patriarch and owner of the gym, with Benji Santiago and Juan Castano as Santi and Nico Torres, his kids and talented boxers who don’t always see eye to eye.

With Jordan unlikely to do more than make a cameo, the key link to the movies is Wood Harris, reprising his role as Little Duke, who helped train Adonis Creed and works to shepherd a new generation of fledgling pugilists.

What of the other ‘Creed’ show?

The series focused on Donnie (Jordan) and Bianca’s (Tessa Thompson) daughter Amara is still in development, but there haven’t been official announcements about casting as of yet.
