Non-Stop Flights From Los Angeles To Orlando With Frontier From July

Frontier will resume its seasonal service to Orlando on July 1 and operate daily through October 26. This is a noticeably shorter duration than last year, when the airline connected the two cities from March through January. While there will undoubtedly be capacity to fill with the collapse of Spirit Airlines, which also served the route, Frontier will still face competition from the ‘Big Three’ and the world’s largest low-cost carrier, Southwest.

Covering a distance of 2,217 miles (3,569 km), the flight takes a total duration of four hours, 55 minutes when traveling eastbound, compared to five hours, 25 minutes on the return, a long time when traveling with no seat-back entertainment (so remember to bring your own device).

When Frontier returns to the route, its daily services will add 117 flight seats for the season, representing the 240 seats per flight onboards it densely configured A321neo. Over 28,000 Seats Added For The Northern Summer Season

A total of 28,080 seats will be added by Frontier from July through to October, with the airline’s largest month being that of August whee it will provide a total of 7,440 seats, 1,680 per week. The smallest month will be October as it gradually finishes the seasonal link on October 26, having operated just 26 flights that month with 6,240 seats.

From California’s most populated city, Frontier operates several domestic routes, including several transcontinental routes, including Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), and Orlando (MCO). Additionally, several intrastate services are offered, including Los Angeles to Sacramento International Airport (SMF), Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), and San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

As per data from ch-aviation, Frontier operates a total of 85 Airbus A321 variants (alongside its other A320 variants), with a mix of both the A321-200 (21) and A321neo (64). The older A321-200s are in the process of being phased out, while the A321neo, of which the airline has a backorder for another 130, is slightly larger by number of seats, with the capacity of 240, as already mentioned.
