Bebe Rexha turned the 2026 American Music Awards red carpet into a hardware-heavy moment on Monday night, punctuating an edgy black look with a pair of 2015 Vicini sandals often attributed to Giuseppe Zanotti on the resale market.

The “Me, Myself & I” singer arrived to the 52nd American Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in a black leather-heavy outfit built around corset details, stacked belts, oversized buckles and silver hardware. When it came to her shoe selection, the look sharpened into one of the night’s more specific shoe choices: a black satin open-toe sandal with a crystal scorpion stretched across the top of the foot.

Rexha wore a Vicini pair that appears to date to 2015, with the style often linked to Giuseppe Zanotti because of Vicini’s role in Zanotti’s footwear business at the time. The black satin open-toe sandals had a narrow toe strap, a slim instep strap and a rhinestone scorpion stretched across each foot. The crystal body sat near the center, with the legs and pincers extending outward and the curved tail dropping toward the toe strap.

A silver chain circled the back of the ankle and hooked at the side, leaving a short extender behind the heel. Rexha layered the black satin sandals over black fishnet tights, tying the crystal scorpion back to the metalwork, belts and hardware above it.

Rexha continued that tough motif with the rest of her look. She wore a plunging black corseted top with wide straps and small silver front closures, then added a black leather skirt with an asymmetric high slit. The skirt carried much of the look’s weight: multiple belts, large buckles, hanging straps, fringe, pleated panels and a long trailing piece at the back. At the waist, an ornate silver plate with a skull-like center and curved, horn-like scrollwork added another flash of metal, carrying the hardware through the skirt alongside stacked belts, silver buckles and hanging chains.

Queen Latifah hosted the 2026 American Music Awards, with Taylor Swift leading the nominations at eight and Morgan Wallen, Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter and Sombr following with seven each. BTS was also on the bill for a special appearance, alongside performances from KATSEYE, Karol G, Keith Urban, Maluma, Teddy Swims and Twenty One Pilots.
