Jenna Ortega’s McQueen Suit Brings Gothic Edge to “Wednesday” FYSEE

Jenna Ortega brought McQueen’s corseted tailoring to the “Wednesday” FYC circuit on Friday, attending Netflix’s Emmys FYSEE event at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, Calif.

The actress wore a gray Alexander McQueen pre-fall 2026 look by Seán McGirr, pairing a cropped double-breasted jacket with matching trousers for a sharper take on the gothic dressing that has followed her through the “Wednesday” press world.

Ortega’s high-waisted jacket featured strong shoulders, wide peak lapels and a raw, frayed hem. Underneath, she wore a white high-neck corseted piece laced down the front, with the crisscross ties exposing the chest below the collar before falling in two long strands past the cropped hem of the jacket.

She paired it with matching low-slung trousers, which kept her platform heels mostly concealed. As for beauty, Ortega wore kept her hair center-parted with soft, subtle waves, paired with a smoky eye and a muted lip. The look was styled by her longtime collaborator Enrique Melendez, with assistance from Alyssa Rabie.

Ortega’s McQueen look landed in a busy stretch for the house under McGirr. Less than a week earlier, “Yellowjackets” star Sophie Thatcher wore a red McQueen pre-fall 2026 dress at Cannes with the label’s black Lexie slingback pumps, a lace-up peep-toe style finished with the curved horn heel McQueen has been pushing back into rotation. Margot Robbie also turned to McQueen in London for the opening night of “1536,” choosing a spring 2026 look rooted in sharp tailoring and darker utility.

Ortega attended the FYSEE event as “Wednesday” continued its Emmy push after the second season’s release last August, with Netflix bringing the cast back together at Hollywood Forever Cemetery for a setting that matched the show’s gothic schoolyard world. She appeared alongside costars, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, returning to the series’ dark visual aesthetic in her own signature way.
