A Packed Day Of Game Reveals Just Ended With A Wave Of New Demos

The Six One Indie Showcase has just wrapped up another bumper edition of game reveals–over 60 in total–for the year, and like previous editions, many of the games featured today have demos accompanying them. While these demos have been out for a while, you can also grab brand-new looks at some of the games revealed today. Perfect timing, considering the June edition of Steam Next Fest is almost here and will likely result in a deluge of demos for the week of the event.

There are some great titles to check out here, covering a wide range of genres and ideas, all wrapped up in interesting visuals. You can find the full list of new demos below, as well as links to take you straight to their Steam and Nintendo eShop store pages.

In case you missed it

You can catch up on the Six One Indie Showcase right here to see all the games that were announced today. In addition to the demos, several world premieres also headlined the broadcast. There’s Anomalith–an action-packed game where a young girl has to fight to survive against deadly anomalies–Bad Badger proves that honey badgers truly are nature’s greatest monsters, and Re:Rite is an evolutionary brawler set in a world where human minds have taken root inside of living, plant-based robotic bodies.

Spirit Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To

You’ve heard of lofi beats to study to, but did you know you could also use those calming tunes to set the pace for a puzzle game? That’s exactly what Spirit Swap: Lofi Beats to Match-3 To offers, and this action-puzzle-meets-narrative-game has a demo out now. If you like what you see and play, the game has also shadow-dropped and is available right now.

Mouseward

What if the souls-like genre kicked off several years before Demon’s Souls hit the scene? That’s the question that Mouseward seeks to answer, as this challenging action game about a royal mouse guard on a quest to restore a once-great kingdom looks like it came straight out of the late ’90s.
