Taylor Swift kept her New York heel streak going on Friday, but traded the week’s black leather and crystal finishes for Aquazzura’s beige Twist 95 Sandal for a date night with her fiancé Travis Kelce.

The Grammy winner held hands with her fiancé as the two arrived for dinner at Or’esh in New York. Swift wore the mule-style beige leather sandal with a floral Dôen dress, bringing a lighter summer read to a shoe run that has moved quickly through glossy slingbacks, strass mules and minimalist black sandals.

The Aquazzura pair, the Twist 95, featured an open toe, a backless slide shape and two twisted straps across the front of the foot. The mule’s 95mm heel curved into a covered trumpet shape, giving the sandal more structure without pulling it out of summer texture.

The choice shifted Swift’s week of heels away from sharper evening finishes. On May 11, she wore Christian Louboutin’s Me Dolly Strass Mules with a Valentino Crepe Couture embellished minidress for a family dinner in New York.

Two days later, she stepped out in Gucci’s black Alma Love leather slingbacks, a glossy pointed pair with a low-cut vamp, slim straps and a concealed red heart on the sole. The day after, she moved into The Row’s Awar leather block-heel sandals, a black minimalist style with a toe loop, thin front strap and low square heel.

Friday’s Aquazzura pair pulled that same high heel run into a softer date night shape. Instead of another sharp black sandal or embellished mule, Swift went for a beige textured heel that worked with the floral print and woven bag without making the look feel too bohemian.

She paired the mules with Dôen’s Ashlynn dress, an off-the-shoulder floral style with puffed sleeves, a gathered neckline and a pale ground covered in blue-and-green flowers. She added a woven shoulder bag, Jacquie Aiche’s rose-cut round and marquise finger bracelet, a custom Kindred Lubeck ring and Darlene De Sedle’s Crystal Opal Bracelet.

Kelce stayed close to the patterned note in Marni’s Striped Poplin Bowling Shirt, dark trousers and Maison Margiela MM6 leather loafers. Swift’s Aquazzura mules took her heel streak in a lighter direction, trading the week’s black leather and crystal finishes for beige leather without moving out of date night territory.
