In an interview with NBC News’ Tom Llamas, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the U.S. policy toward Taiwan are “unchanged” after President Trump met with Chinese President Xi. Xi previously warned Trump that tensions over Taiwan could jeopardize U.S.-China relations, leading to “clashes and even conflicts” if the issue is not handled carefully.
