I Can Save $397 on the Best Summer Basics at Gap’s Sale


If you’ve been on a certain side of TikTok lately, you may have noticed people posting their Gap purchases. Yesterday, I was scrolling and saw one of my favorite people to follow, Alivia, talking about a pair of $40 Jelly Flip Flops—and I immediately went to look them up. Then, when I went on the Gap website, I noticed it’s currently having a sale: 40% off everything, including new arrivals, until the end of the day on May 14.

With summer finally here, I decided to look through its warm-weather staples: tank tops, T-shirts, and halters. While browsing through the dresses and skirts, a few stood out: the Shirred Maxi Dress, Poplin Maxi Skirt, and Pointelle Polo Maxi Dress. I’d also recommend the discounted swimwear, like the contrast-trim bikini top with the matching swim skort or the balconette bikini top with coordinating bottoms.
