‘Dutton Ranch’ Opens for Business: How to Watch the ‘Yellowstone’ Sequel Series

The Yellowstone legacy lives on with Dutton Ranch, the newest series expanding Taylor Sheridan‘s TV universe. The sequel stars Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly, who reprise their roles as Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton, and premieres this week.

In Dutton Ranch, Rip and Beth relocate to Texas and work to establish their ranching business in unfamiliar territory. This may not be Yellowstone — but you could consider this Yellowstone-adjacent — which means trouble finds the duo. Soon, they quickly discover that doing business in Texas is a dangerous endeavor. A rival ranch brings a whole new mess to their doorstep. Needless to say, things are gonna get ugly.

Starring alongside Hauser and Reilly are Annette Bening, Finn Little, Natalie Alyn Lind, Ed Harris, Jai Courtney, Juan Pablo Raba, Marc Menchaca and J.R. Villarreal.

Paramount Plus got another price hike earlier this year. The streamer offers two tiers: The Essential plan (with ads) costs $9 a month or $90 annually; the Premium (ad-free) option is $14 a month or $140 annually. If you opt for Premium, the extra dollars give you the ability to download titles, watch more of Showtime’s library and access your local CBS station.

Philo

With a subscription to Philo, you can access Paramount Network and all its programming, including the premiere of Dutton Ranch. New users with a subscription to the streamer’s Essential plan, which costs $25 a month, will get a seven-day free trial, which you can use to watch the Yellowstone spinoff’s premiere at no cost.

Paramount Network will air a Yellowstone marathon from May 11 through May 15th, making this the perfect time to sign up. Check out our review of Philo.

How to watch Dutton Ranch with a VPN

If you’re traveling abroad and want to keep up with your favorite shows while away from home, a VPN can help enhance your privacy and security when streaming. It encrypts your traffic and prevents your internet service provider from throttling your speeds, and it can also be helpful when connecting to public Wi-Fi networks while traveling, adding an extra layer of protection for your devices and logins.

VPNs are legal in many countries, including the US and Canada, and can be used for legitimate purposes such as improving online privacy and security. However, some streaming services may have policies restricting VPN usage to access region-specific content. If you’re considering a VPN for streaming, check the platform’s terms of service to ensure compliance.

ExpressVPN is our best VPN pick for people who want a reliable and safe VPN. The service is compatible with a variety of devices. It typically costs $13 a month, but if you sign up for an annual subscription for $100, you will get four months free and save 70%. Note that ExpressVPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you choose to use a VPN, follow the provider’s installation instructions, ensuring you’re connected securely and in compliance with applicable laws and service agreements. Some streaming platforms may block access when a VPN is detected, so verifying if your streaming subscription allows VPN usage is crucial.
